This summer The Courteeners will be mixing rock 'n' roll with sun 'n' sand when they play Ibiza Rocks on June 22.

Liam says: ‘We can’t wait to get back out there. People go to Ibiza for one thing and that’s to have a f*cking good time. Let’s face it, we definitely fit the criteria.’

The Courteeners and Noel join forces at the Teenage Cancer Trust

The Courteeners will join Noel Gallagher on the 25th of March at the Royal Albert Hall for Noel's first live performance since Oasis split.

The performance is in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

An array of musicians and comedians from Jimmy Carr and The Specials to Rhod Gilbert and Mystery Jets will come together from the 22nd to 30th of March to raise money in the battle against teen cancer.

The Courteeners To Play V Festival

The Courteeners have extended their run of summer festivals into August - when they'll be taking to the main stage at V.

The annual event takes place over the weekend of August 21-22 and tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday (March 5) via seetickets.com.

The boys will join the likes of Paul Weller, Kings Of Leon and Kasabian on the stellar line-up, playing Hylands Park, Chelmsford on Saturday and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Sunday.

The Courteeners have announced today they will be playing at this year's T in the Park, alongside Muse, Kasabian and Eminem.

The full 2010 line-up was unveiled today on the official site for the festival, which will run for three days in Scotland from the 9th of July.

The Courteeners will hit TV screens nationwide tonight (Friday 19th February) when they perform on Channel 4's Album Chart Show.

Tune in at a quarter past Midnight (00.15hrs) to catch the band live and in conversation.

Also - apologies to those fans who were expecting The Courteeners to appear on tomorrow's Soccer Am show - the band's appearance has been pushed back and they'll now be live in the studio a week later on Saturday 27th February. Make sure you tune in then.

Here we are. BIg Tuesday. We've been looking forward to this day for a long, long time.

Yesterday was a grim day all round. There's no two ways about it. Grey Monday.

But this morning brings a little snow, no doubt some sort of soup, a
game of soccerball and then a small pop concert, that will, no doubt,
go down in Musical History.

Today our friends, things are better.

We're still unsure whether we can get our heads around the fact that
some of you queued through the night. But it means a hell of a lot.
It's gonna be fucking amazing. See you there.

For anyone who bought the single, nice one. Cheers for all the love and support.

First off, The Courteeners will be making a bang in their very own half hour special on C4's 'Album Chart Show', performing tracks from new album 'Falcon' and a few classic tunes from their back catalogue too. That goes out on February 19th.

They'll also be appearing on C4's 'Outside in Festival' show this Valentine's Day. And if the other love in your life comes first, you can catch a repeat of this show on February 28th.

The band will then join the boys and girls at the Soccer AM studios on February 20th, for some chat and banter.

Radio lovers don't miss out; the band will be playing a BBC 6Music session at Maida Vale on the February 22nd, before following this up with an acoustic session for Absolute radio's Geoff Lloyd on the 23rd.

Finally, Xfm will be broadcasting 'An Evening with The Courteeners' on 104.9fm later that same day.

intimate homecoming show for The Shockwaves NME Awards at Manchester's
Ruby Lounge on February 16th.

Tickets will naturally be highly
sought-after and the only place you can get yours is in person at the
Ruby Lounge box office.

camp out on the street.

- The Ruby Lounge is located at 26-28
High Street, Manchester, M4 1QB.
- Tickets will go on sale from 10am

'Falcon' Receives Glowing Reviews

The critics have been getting their teeth into 'Falcon' and are declaring it a triumph.

Reviews from the likes of Q Magazine and Mojo have praised the album, with both giving it glowing four star reviews.

Q announced "As a recessionary chill blows at the start of 2010, Falcon's heartfelt tales of fight or flight couldn't be better timed."

Mojo were equally praiseworthy, calling 'Falcon' "full of booming, immediate choruses and feel-good proclaimations".

Big news - The Courteeners are set to play an intimate hometown gig
next month. The band will be going from playing for 10,000 people at the
Manchester Central to an intimate show for just a few hundred at the
Ruby Lounge.

The Shockwaves NME Awards Show will take place at
the Ruby Lounge on February 16, just six days ahead of the release of
the second record.

Tickets for the gig go on sale at 10am this
Saturday (January 30) exclusively and on a first-come-first-served basis
in person, from the venue box office at 26-28 High Street, Manchester,
M4 1QB.

Says Liam: "Let's face it, it's Manchester so it's going

Hope you're all keeping warm. Snow is beautiful, but ultimately a
pain in the arse. it's ridiculous how England grinds to a halt when
there is snow. Get more fucking Mr.Ploughs out on the road moving the
snow. People need to get to work man, and pay for the heating.

First off, How good was the Gmex? A big Thank-you to everyone who was there. We will remember that one for a very long time.

So, Falcon is on the horizon. We're absolutely buzzing over it. I've
just had 2 huge canvases made of the album artwork. I absolutely
fucking love that image. how good is it !? gone up a notch with the
artwork this time around. I felt me and me camera phone didn't quite
cut the mustard for the transition that we've made. Probably get us all
to sign one and auction it for charity. The other one is going up on my
wall.

I wanna say thanks for the swell of positivity we've had surrounding
the new stuff. Every single song I've ever written I've written for
myself and no-one else. If people like it, excellent stuff. If they
don't, they can jog on. Simples.

When you write, whatever it may be, you're putting your baby on the
line. So to have the response that we have had on the myspace,
Facebook, Youtube, etc concerning the new stuff has been fucking
brilliant. We knew it'd go down well live and we can't wait until March
to see everyone going mental up and the down these fair Isles.

You Overdid It Doll was played on Huw Stephens and XFM t'other
night. good work texting in. Was listening to a lot of Stevie Wonder
and Blondie in Belgium. Sinister dancing track.

Some people think they own the world yet haven't pulled out the weeds in their own gardens. L x

The Courteeners are coming back, and they've got a present for you.

From December 7th you'll be able to download the never-heard-before track, taken from the band's as-yet-untitled second studio album, absolutely free from this very site.

The second Courteeners album is due out in February next year.

Before the year's out the band will be returning to the live arena with a solo appearance from Liam at Xfm's Winter Wonderland on December 8th, plus two full band shows at Warrington Parr Hall (December 9th) and Manchester Central (December 11th).
